The presentation of "Stork green nappies for new born"

It's called "Stork Green nappies for new born." It 'a new initiative promoted by the Municipality of Casola Valsenio to pursue its environmental sustainability, produce less waste and the health of its citizens, starting from the smallest: the City, in collaboration with the Pharmacy "Rinaldi Ceroni" will pay homage to every newborn in 2010 with a set of eco-friendly cloth diapers. The presentation will
Tuesday, December 14, at 20:30 Nolasco Biagi in the Hall of the Library "G. Pitta."
Speakers Mayor Nicholas Iseppi, the Deputy Mayor for social and health policies Milena Barzagli, the pharmacist Dr. Maria Bellino and pediatrician Dr. Simonetta Nanni.
Since 2011, the City will make the kit to each new birth as an incentive towards greater environmental awareness and health of children.
In summary, we see the main reasons for choosing washable nappies:
is economic: the approximately 6000 diapers that are used in the first three years of life are spending between 1500 and 2000 €. With washable spending varies from 200 to 800 € depending on the model you choose. And for the second child the cost is zero!
For the well-being: the cloth diapers are made of naturally absorbent fibers that provide the perspiration. The ass does not stay in contact with the plastic and the chemicals used in disposable.
To protect the environment: each child change 6000 disposable nappies in its first three years. These are transformed into a ton of rubbish, 10% of all municipal waste, which require 500 years to decompose.
